Job Details:

Full-time, Part-time, and Relief Hours Available

Drivers Preferred

Note: Due to the location of our service, drivers are preferred for this role as public transport options are limited during shift times.

Pay Rate: £12.00 per hour

This role is ideal for individuals living near Inverurie or in neighboring towns such as Westhill, Huntly, and Insch.

Shifts:
  1. 7:30 am - 3:00 pm
  2. 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm
  3. 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
  4. 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm
  5. 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm
  6. 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Sleepover shifts are also available and are paid hourly.

About the Role:

Start your career with Real Life Options and make a difference by supporting greater independence for people with learning disabilities and autism. Our Inverurie service supports individuals with daily living tasks and activities to promote independence, including medication support, mealtimes, maintaining tenancies, and social outings like parties and bingo.

The successful candidate should have experience in support roles, a positive attitude, and the ability to encourage individuals to live ordinary lives. Experience with challenging behavior and its management is essential, as some clients may exhibit verbal or physical challenges.

Flexibility in working hours is required due to the variable needs of the service. All staff are expected to work across different parts of the service.

Full training is provided, and ongoing annual competencies and training are required.

Good communication skills, initiative, and awareness of care standards and SSSC requirements are necessary. Experience with complex needs is an advantage or a willingness to learn.

An enhanced PVG check is required for this role.
