Job summary

Voyage Care Barnford House in Oldbury is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help residents gain independence and participate in daily activities. The role offers a starting rate of £12.72 per hour, rising to £13.72 with overtime and evening/weekend enhancements.

Shifts run 07:45-15:15 and 14:30-22:00, including weekends across Monday to Sunday. You will work in a welcoming residential service, assisting with personal care, community access and activities, and supporting a group of people in a

Qualifications

• You must hold a full UK driving license.
• Be genuinely caring and hands-on in approach.
• Demonstrate resilience, flexibility, and composure.
• Experience with Positive Behaviour Support and reflective practice.
• Experience with individuals requiring enhanced support, including mental health conditions.
• All roles subject to DBS checks and references.

We’re interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should hold a full UK driving license, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour's of distress and mental health conditions.
