Job summary

Eden Futures is seeking a Female Specialist Support Worker to join our busy team in Oswestry, delivering person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities, autism and related needs. You will work across supported living services, supporting independence and wellbeing in service users' own homes.

We welcome applicants based on values; full UK Driving Licence is essential. Training, career development and recognition are provided, with shift patterns including days and sleeps.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Care experience not necessary; values-based recruitment.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and use initiative.

Responsibilities

• Support service users to lead a full and active life according to their wishes and care plans.
• Help keep service users safe and safeguarded from abuse where possible.
• Provide emotional support with a person-centred approach.
• Assist with social activities, finances, medications, practical tasks, personal care and healthcare.
• Act as a point of contact for families and social workers.
• Report issues related to health and wellbeing accurately.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations and promote welfare.
