Join Our Team as a Female Specialist Support Worker - Drivers Only

Location:	Redhill, Surrey
Salary:	£12.30 per hour (£23,985 pro-rata) plus benefits.
Hours:	37.5 hours per week, between 7.00 am and 10.00 pm, Monday to Sunday, on a shift rota basis.
Contract:	Full-time, Permanent.
Driving Requirement:	A valid full UK manual driving license is essential for this role.
Right to Work:	Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any skilled worker visas.

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Complex Needs Support Worker, you'll support individuals with diverse needs, helping them live independently and with dignity. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing daily care and support, including personal care, meal prep, and medication management.
• Building trusting relationships to understand and support individual needs.
• Empowering independence through support with personal goals and activities.
• Supporting social engagement and recreational activities.
• Ensuring respect, dignity, and equality for those you support.

About the Person You Will Support

You will support a young lady living independently in Redhill, with complex health needs including autism, learning disabilities, and RCDP. Support involves assistance with daily living, communication using Makaton and picture exchange systems, mobility, and emotional needs. Patience and a positive attitude are essential, especially as some behaviours can be challenging. You will work on a 2:1 basis, as she attends day services, and driving is necessary for outings and appointments.
