Role Overview

We are seeking compassionate and reliable support workers to provide care within our Specialist Care service in the Winchester area. The role involves supporting individuals with daily tasks, community activities, personal care, and promoting independence. Candidates should be proactive, empathetic, and enjoy engaging with people, supporting those who may have disabilities or health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist with daily activities such as shopping, cooking, personal care, and domestic duties.
  2. Support individuals to access community resources, hobbies, and outdoor activities.
  3. Provide companionship and reassurance to build confidence and independence.
  4. Monitor mood changes and use techniques to support individuals through challenging situations.
Candidate Requirements
  • Full, valid, and clean driving licence is essential.
  • Experience in supporting individuals with disabilities or complex needs is preferred.
  • Empathy, patience, and strong communication skills are necessary.
  • Keen to develop skills through training and qualifications.
  • Comfortable with animals, as some individuals may have pets.
Working Conditions

Full-time preferred, but part-time roles may be considered. Shifts are on a rota basis, including every other weekend. Night shifts may be available.
