Teaching Personnel is excited to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established secondary school in Sheffield for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of PE. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
  • Develop engaging and effective lesson plans that cater to a range of learning abilities.
  • Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Promote a love for PE in a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities and school events.

Requirements:

  • A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) and a degree in PE or a related subject.
  • Previous experience teaching English in a secondary school setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the PE curriculum and exam specifications (GCSE).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students to achieve their full potential.
