Job summary

CYGNET's The Gables in Colchester is seeking a confident Female Night Support Worker to join our care team. You’ll work 40.25 hours per week on night shifts from 7:30pm to 7:45am, delivering person-centred care to residents.

Due to a genuine occupational need to support female residents, we invite female applicants. You will provide emotional and physical support, learn individual needs, and assist with medical and welfare needs while safeguarding a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• Female candidates only due to genuine occupational need.
• Experience delivering person-centred care.
• Willingness to work night shifts.
• Enhanced DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for residents.
• Offer guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Learn individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs as required.
• Report on medical and welfare needs as required.
• Safeguard residents and maintain a safe, clean environment.
