Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a Night Support Worker to assist a male client in Hexham with complex care needs. This role runs 11pm–7:30am on a flexible zero-hours contract, with driving required for travel to the client's home.

You’ll provide personal care, moving and handling support, and light domestic tasks while monitoring overnight wellbeing. A compassionate, reliable team player is essential to maintain continuity of care and safety.

Qualifications

• A kind and compassionate nature is essential.
• Flexibility and reliability are important for ongoing shifts.
• Excellent communication skills with clients and families.
• Must live locally to Hexham and be able to travel to the client’s home.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support during night shifts.
• Assist with moving and handling as required.
• Support with light domestic tasks and monitoring overnight wellbeing.
• Coordinate with the on-site team and stay overnight if needed.
