Job summary

Eden Futures is recruiting Female Support Workers to join our Supported Living services in Oswestry, helping adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs live as independently as possible. You will work in service users' homes, providing person-centred care, support with daily tasks, finances, medication and personal care.

Qualifications

• Caring and compassionate, with a genuine passion for helping service users lead a full and active life.
• Experience in community support, mental health support and managing challenging behaviour is essential.
• Full UK driving Licence is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Support service users to lead a full and active life in line with their wishes and plans.
• Help service users stay safe and report safeguarding concerns.
• Provide emotional support with a person-centred approach.
• Assist with social activities, finances, medications, practical tasks, personal care and healthcare.
• Be an informal contact for families and social workers.
• Accurately report issues related to care and wellbeing.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations and promote welfare.
