As a healthcare assistant/support worker, you will deliver high quality, person-centered care in clients' own homes, including personal care, medications, and clinical support, while enriching their quality of life and helping them achieve goals.

Qualifications

• 6 months care experience within the last 2 years (UK based).
• Experience with personal care, medication and manual handling.
• Comfortable working in a 1:1 setting.
• Willing to learn new skills and undertake complex care training.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centered care to clients in their own home.
• Administer medications and support clinical interventions as required.
• Support clients in moving, handling and daily activities.
• Assist with school attendance and activities for younger clients where needed.

Female Healthcare Assistant Support Worker - North Shields

Location: Ponteland

Shifts/working hours: Days - 7am - 7pm

Drivers licence required for this role

Pay rates: from £14.86 - £17.10 hour (including holiday pay)

As a healthcare assistant/support worker, you will be providing high quality, person-centered care to our clients in the comfort of their own home. On shift, you will be expected to provide personal care, assist with moving and handling and support with any clinical interventions specific to our client. Alongside, you will be expected to enrich their quality of life via community interaction and support in achieving their goals/aspirations.

About the role

In this role, you will be supporting our 7-year-old female client within her family home, who is living with several complex care needs. On shift you will be providing personal care, administering medications and managing our clients’ clinical interventions. To support our clients development, you will be expected to attend school and provide personal care/clinical support.

Role Requirements
