Job summary

Pulse Nursing at Home is seeking a Female Healthcare Assistant Support Worker to join our York team. You will provide high-quality, person-centred care to a young client in her family home or school setting, including personal care and 1:1 support.

Shift pattern includes Nights 22:00–08:00. 6 months care experience in the UK, experience with medications and manual handling, and a compassionate, professional approach are essential. Training for complex care will be provided.

Qualifications

• 6 months care experience within the last 2 years (UK based).
• Experience with personal care, medication and manual handling.
• Comfortable working in a 1:1 setting.
• Willing to learn new skills and undertake complex care training.
• Ability to provide high-quality care with compassion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to clients in the comfort of their home.
• Administer medications and manage clinical interventions (training provided).
• Support with moving and handling as required.

As a healthcare assistant/support worker, you will be providing high quality, person-centered care to our clients in the comfort of their own home. On shift, you will be expected to provide personal care, assist with moving and handling and support with any clinical interventions specific to our client. Alongside, you will be expected to enrich their quality of life via community interaction and support in achieving their goals/aspirations.

About the role

In this role, you will be supporting our 1-year-old female client within her family home/school setting, who is living with a complex genetic condition. On shift you will be providing personal care, administering medications and managing our clients’ clinical interventions (all training will be provided).

Role Requirements
