Job summary

Pulse Nursing at Home is seeking a Female Healthcare Assistant Support Worker to join our team in Cramlington. You will provide high quality, person-centred care to a 7-year-old client in her family home, including personal care, medications, and clinical support on a 1:1 basis.

The role requires at least 6 months of care experience, ability to work days 7am–7pm, and a driving licence. You will engage with the family and school to support development, while benefiting from ongoing training,

Qualifications

• 6 months care experience within the last 2 years (UK based).
• Experience with personal care, medication and manual handling.
• Comfortable working in a 1:1 setting and providing high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care to the client in her home.
• Administer medications and manage clinical interventions as required.
• Support development by attending school and facilitating activities with family.

Location: Ponteland

Shifts/working hours: Days - 7am - 7pm

Pay rates: from £14.86 - £17.10 hour (including holiday pay)

As a healthcare assistant/support worker, you will be providing high quality, person-centered care to our clients in the comfort of their own home. On shift, you will be expected to provide personal care, assist with moving and handling and support with any clinical interventions specific to our client. Alongside, you will be expected to enrich their quality of life via community interaction and support in achieving their goals/aspirations.

About the role

In this role, you will be supporting our 7-year-old female client within her family home, who is living with several complex care needs. On shift you will be providing personal care, administering medications and managing our clients’ clinical interventions. To support our clients development, you will be expected to attend school and provide personal care/clinical support.

Role Requirements

• 6 months care experience within the 2 years (UK based)

• Comfortable working in a 1:1 setting
• Willing to learn new skills and undertake complex care training
• Ability to provide high-quality care with compassion and professionalism
