Job summary

Radfield Home Care in the Leatherhead area is seeking Evening Care Assistants to support clients in their own homes across Leatherhead, Ashtead, Fetcham and Bookham (KT22/KT21). Driving licence and own car are required.

Shifts are 4pm–10pm with alternate weekends or weekend options; occasional night shifts from 10pm–7am may arise. You will be paid for travel time, mileage, and time with clients at a competitive rate.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driving licence and own car.
• Experience in home care is preferred but not essential as full training is provided.
• Excellent English language skills are required.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Evening Care Assistant

Location: Radfield Home Care Epsom & Leatherhead

Contract: Full-Time, Part-Time

Salary: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour, plus mileage

We are looking for female care assistants who have a driving license and their own car.

Pay & Hours:

We pay you for your time with the client, your time travelling between clients and your mileage. Your travel time and mileage is calculated real time from google so is a true reflection of your time.

• £14.00/ hour weekdays, £16.00/ hour weekends

• £13.25/ hour travel time

• 45p/ mile

Working Patterns:

• Our evening shift requires availability 4pm-10pm

• We require alternate weekend availability or every Saturday or every Sunday

• Occasoinal night shifts available 10pm-7am

Area Covered:

Leatherhead, Ashtead, Fetcham and Bookham (KT22 and KT21) and surrounding areas .

Induction and Training:

You will complete a 12 week induction and onboarding programme giving you all the support you need to confidently and safely provide care to our clients. This will include:

• An introduction to Radfield Home Care, our values, the team and our #BeThere moments

• How to maintain professional boundaries, identify safeguarding concerns, ensuring equality and diversity through person centred care.

• Learn and try out how to safely support people to move with equipment keeping yourself protected at all times.

• Practice basic life support, medication support and pressure care

• Health and Safety, good personal hygeine and food preperation.
