Job summary

Radfield Home Care is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to support female clients in Bath, Radstock & Keynsham, with early shifts from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM. You will help clients maintain independence and quality of life in their own homes.

The role offers flexible hours, a competitive hourly rate (£14.00-£21.00), paid travel time, DBS reference checks, and ongoing paid induction and training within a friendly, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in home care or related field is preferred but not essential.
• Good command of English and clear communication with clients and families.
• Compassionate approach and ability to follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, personal care, meals, and medication reminders.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Communicate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The role requires contact with vulnerable clients and will be subject to enhanced DBS disclosure and satisfactory references.

• A compassionate approach with a genuine desire to help others.
• A valid driver's license is beneficial for travel between client homes.
