Job summary

Prestige Nursing & Care Redhill is seeking a compassionate Female Live-In Carer to support a gentleman living with a spinal cord injury in the East Surrey area. Accommodation includes a private bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.

You will join a dedicated team delivering high-quality, clinically governed care in a home setting with ongoing specialist training and DBS/background checks in line with regulations. Weekly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Female Carer (Gender-specific care request).
• Valid UK Driver’s License.
• Prior experience with Spinal Cord Injuries or complex neuro-care is desirable.
• Comfortable working in a home with a dog and a smoker (ventilated care policies in place).
• Full right to work in the UK.
• Open to working patterns (e.g. 2 weeks on / off).

Responsibilities

• Supporting daily living, mobility, and personal care routines.
• Monitoring and managing clinical risks, including Autonomic Dysreflexia.
• Clinical administration and prompting (bowel management/rectal medication, catheter care, enhanced observations).
• Driver essential for local transport (mobility vehicle provided).

Key responsibilities & clinical needs:

• Supporting daily living, mobility, and personal care routines

Training & Clinical Support:

Full specialist training and clinical competency sign-offs will be provided prior to starting, including moving & handling, basic life support, and specialist bowel/catheter management.
