Job summary

Innovate Care Group is seeking a Complex Care Healthcare Assistant based in South Ockenden. Candidates should have at least 12 months of experience supporting clients with spinal cord injuries, as well as a proactive attitude and great communication skills.

• Minimum of 2 shifts per week. Days or nights 8-8.
• Salary: £15 – £16.60 per hour (includes holiday pay accrual)

Your Role

As a Complex Care Healthcare Assistant for Innovate Care Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of safe, outstanding care for a male client based in South Ockenden. We are looking for a chatty and proactive candidate that is happy to engage in lots of conversation. The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting clients with spinal cord injuries, along with a confident and compassionate approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Tracheostomy care
• Cough assist
• Invasive ventilation via tracheostomy
• Autonomic dysreflexia management
• Catheter care
• Moving and handling
• Personal care
• Activities of daily living
• CPAP/BiPAP support

Requirements
