Job summary

The AICS Group in Sevenoaks is seeking compassionate Female Rehabilitation Support Workers to assist an 8-year-old boy with daily activities and rehabilitation goals.

The role offers either part-time or full-time hours, involves driving the client’s adapted MPV and maintaining a safe, supportive environment. A DBS check is required. You will provide physical and emotional support in line with the client’s plan, help with social, educational, and developmental activities, and promote independence.

Qualifications

• Female (due to the nature of the role)
• Previous experience in supporting children or young people with special needs or rehabilitation is desirable
• Compassionate, patient, and understanding
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• A flexible and proactive approach

Responsibilities

• Support the child in daily routines and activities
• Provide physical and emotional support in line with the client’s rehabilitation plan
• Assist with social, educational, and developmental goals
• Promote independence and self-confidence
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment
• Willingness and ability to drive the client’s adapted MPV (multi-purpose vehicle)
