Job summary

Bluebird Care Coventry is seeking a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team and help set the standard in home care.

You will provide high-quality personal care, support daily living activities, meals, medications, and light housework, with full induction and ongoing training. This role is based in Coventry and offers a supportive, 24/7 team environment.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Compassionate attitude and calm approach to care.
• Ability to follow care plans; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s needs.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal planning, preparation and nutrition.
• Support with medication and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and cleaning.
• Be a dependable, friendly face for customers.
• Full induction and ongoing expert training.
• Uniform and PPE provided.
• Regular support and ongoing career development.
• Friendly, inclusive team with 24/7 support.

• Salary details: £14.00 - £21.00 per hour

• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for

Requirements

• *A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle*

• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
• Ability to follow care plans
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not a necessity as full training will be provided
