Job summary

Bluebird Care Dudley, Kidderminster & Malvern is seeking a Care Assistant to join a friendly team in the Kingswinford/Stourbridge/Halesowen areas. The role offers from £13.25 per hour plus paid travel and comprehensive training to develop expertise in delivering high-quality home care.

You will provide personalised care, assist with activities of daily living, support nutrition and medications, and help maintain a clean, safe home environment while building trust with clients and their families.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships.
• Ability to follow care plans and provide person-centred care.
• Care experience is beneficial but full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person's needs.
• Assist with personal care, e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Help with meal prepping and nutrition.
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housekeeping like tidying and laundry.
• Be a dependable, friendly face for customers.

Requirements
