Job summary

Kelvion, a global leader in thermal solutions, seeks a Mechanical Engineer with strong Autodesk Inventor skills to design heat exchanger products from concept to production. You will create 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs, and collaborate with global teams to improve performance, manufacturability, and documentation.

Experience with CAD-to-FEA workflows, shell/beam/solid modeling, and sheet-metal design is valuable. Flexible travel may be required as projects transfer globally.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong Autodesk Inventor skills for 3D modelling and 2D drafting.
• Experience with CAD simplification and defeaturing for analysis.
• Good understanding of drawings, assemblies, and BOM structures.
• Familiarity with PDM/ Vault or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop heat exchanger solutions from concept to production.
• Create manufacturable 3D designs, 2D drawings, and BOMs in Inventor.
• Improve performance, efficiency, reliability and manufacturability.
• Prepare FEA-ready models and define analysis approaches.
• Collaborate with analysts to agree modelling assumptions and outputs.
• Provide technical support for prototypes, manufacturing, and transfers.
• Manage workstreams, priorities, risks, budgets, deadlines.
