Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking an experienced Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering Lecturer to inspire and educate students in a dynamic college in the Wigan area. The role requires FE experience across Manufacturing, Mechanical and Electrical engineering.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver assessments, manage student progress, and contribute to continuous improvement in teaching and learning. The position is permanent full-time (37 hours per week) with a competitive salary up to GBP45,119

Qualifications

• Experience in FE across Manufacturing, Mechanical and Electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver formative and summative assessments in line with awarding body requirements.
• Develop and deliver best practice in learning, teaching and assessment.
• Assess student work in line with College policies and awarding body requirements.
• Record student progress and inform lesson planning and homework.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to support progress.
• Monitor attendance and promote positive behaviour for learning.
• Undertake CPD and contribute to teaching and learning improvements.
