TipTopJob is hiring an experienced Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering Lecturer in Wigan, Greater Manchester. The role requires FE experience across manufacturing, mechanical and electrical engineering, delivering rigorous assessments and effective teaching.

You will plan lessons, provide feedback, monitor progress, and contribute to CPD in a dynamic college environment. The position is a permanent full-time role with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in Further Education across Manufacturing, Mechanical and electrical engineering.
• Ability to plan and deliver formative and summative assessments.
• Deliver best practice in learning, teaching and assessment.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback and monitor attendance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons to achieve academic potential in line with awarding body requirements.
• Develop and deliver best practice in learning, teaching and assessment.
• Assess student work per college policies and inform lesson planning.
• Record progress using college systems and inform planning of lessons and homework.
• Provide timely feedback to support progress.
• Monitor and manage attendance and behaviour.
• Engage in CPD and contribute to teaching improvements.
