Job summary

Clark James Insurance Recruitment is seeking an Insurance Compliance Officer in Newcastle. You will identify risk, assess compliance issues and support implementation of the company's monitoring framework in a FCA-regulated environment.

The role involves liaising with Regulators, insurers and partners, updating on GDPR and regulatory changes, and guiding online producers to ensure robust compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role within the Insurance industry.
• Knowledge of FCA rules and Lloyds market requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assist with risk and compliance monitoring and reporting.
• Liaise with Regulators, governing bodies, insurers and reinsurers.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, brokers and professionals.
• Support compliance monitoring work; help implement risk framework and policies.
• Stay updated on latest Compliance laws including GDPR and FCA regulations.
• Provide guidance on compliance to online producers and affiliates.
