Job summary

Sigma Group in Castleford is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager - HVAC to lead a range of HVAC projects from inception to completion within the commercial retail sector.

You will manage on-site activities, coordinate design team meetings, monitor KPIs, and maintain project budgets while upholding safety and quality standards. This role offers hybrid working arrangements and a pathway to progression.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering mechanical or HVAC projects within commercial environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver a variety of mechanical HVAC projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate and oversee project activities to ensure delivery against programme, budget, and quality requirements.
• Attend and manage on-site project phases.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments as required.
• Attend design team and client meetings throughout project lifecycles.
• Monitor project KPIs and ensure reporting is completed accurately and on time.
• Manage project budgets and profitability, ensuring target margins are achieved.
• Produce and maintain accurate CVRs and project financial reporting.
• Ensure Health & Safety requirements, policies and industry standards are adhered to.
• Drive a right-first-time approach and pursue defect-free handovers.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and technical solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
