Job summary

Bidfood UK in Reading is seeking a Warehouse Operative (days) to join a busy ambient, chilled and frozen warehouse. You will pick customer orders, load vehicles and ensure products are stored safely to leave on time. The role runs Sunday to Thursday, 16:00 to 00:30, with a salary of £37,616.02 incl. shift allowance.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, using pump trucks, power pallet trucks and forklifts, and benefit from a supportive team and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Warehouse or multi-temperature experience is helpful, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Loading vehicles ready for delivery.
• Organising and storing products safely and correctly.
• Using warehouse equipment safely, with full training provided.
• Moving stock using pump trucks, power pallet trucks and forklifts.
• Supporting colleagues to keep the warehouse running smoothly.
• Helping ensure drivers leave on schedule with complete and accurate orders.
