Job summary

Bidfood UK is seeking a Warehouse Operative (days) at Newhouse Farm Road Industrial Estate, Chepstow. You will work across ambient, chilled and frozen areas, preparing customer orders for delivery.

In a fast-paced, hands-on environment you’ll pick orders, load vehicles and move stock safely, with full training provided on equipment. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail and a commitment to excellent service.

Qualifications

• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Warehouse or multi-temperature experience is helpful, but not essential.
• A good level of physical fitness, as this is an active role involving regular movement and manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Loading vehicles ready for delivery
• Organising and storing products safely and correctly
• Using warehouse equipment safely, with full training provided
• Moving stock using pump trucks, power pallet trucks and in some cases forklifts
• Supporting colleagues to keep the warehouse running smoothly
• Helping ensure drivers leave on schedule with complete and accurate orders
