jobs24.co.uk is seeking a Dispatch Operative to join a busy construction-focused warehouse. The role is hands-on, with emphasis on accuracy, pace and reliability to ensure orders are picked, packed and dispatched on time.

You’ll operate to clear daily targets and tight dispatch deadlines, thriving in a fast-paced setting and taking pride in first-time accuracy. Training is provided and opportunities exist within an established construction materials operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, distribution or dispatch environment.
• Experience working to KPIs, productivity targets or picking rates.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
• Ability to work at pace while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Meet agreed picking rates and daily productivity KPIs.
• Prepare orders for dispatch within strict deadlines.
• Maintain a high level of pick accuracy and a low error rate.
• Check stock against orders and identify discrepancies.
• Use warehouse systems/scanners to record stock movements and completed orders.
• Label, package and prepare products for dispatch.
