Job summary

Meon, the UK and Ireland's leading specialist distributor of road marking and related systems, is hiring a Supply Chain & Purchasing Coordinator to manage daily purchasing, stock replenishment and supplier coordination. You will keep inventory flowing, identify risks early and work with our Planner to keep stock moving and customers supplied.

This role suits someone who works well at pace and takes ownership, with opportunities to develop into broader planning roles within Meon.

Qualifications

• Experience using ERP or stock management systems.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Confidence managing multiple priorities without losing accuracy.
• Strong numerical skills and ability to spot trends quickly.
• A proactive mindset and willingness to own issues.
• The composure to react fast and reprioritise when needed.
• Great communication with suppliers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily purchasing cycle from start to finish.
• Raise purchase orders and manage ERP workload.
• Monitor supplier performance and overdue deliveries.
• Execute buying plans created by the Supply Chain Planner.
• Identify supply risks early and escalate as needed.
• Build relationships with suppliers and be a trusted contact.
• Collaborate across Supply Chain, Sales and Operations.
