Job summary

Footasylum is seeking a Store Supervisor for an in-store, full-time role at Braehead (Glasgow). You will lead a store team, drive sales, coach Sales Assistants, and uphold high standards of customer service and store presentation.

You will be responsible for coaching, scheduling, stock control, and ensuring a safe, efficient shopping environment in a fast-paced retail setting. A proactive, customer-focused attitude and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Passion for fashion retail and Footasylum ethos.
• Previous fashion retail experience preferred.
• Experience in managing and motivating a team of Sales Assistants.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Efficient and highly organized with a customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Sales: To maximise the number of sales in-store.
• Service: To satisfy and build loyalty with customers to ensure repeat visits.
• Profit Protection and Stock Control: Monitor stock while ensuring employees’ safety and wellbeing on premises.
• Merchandising, Space, Stock and Display: Display products to stimulate interest and entice customers.
• Human Resources (HR): Ensure fair treatment of employees and adherence to company policies.
• Training and Recruitment: Deliver and participate in activities to develop the company’s skills and knowledge.
• Profit and Losses (P&L): Control day-to-day store expenses.
• Property: Maintain the store’s property and facilities.
• Health and Safety: Ensure daily safety provisions on the store premises.
• Forward Planning and General Duties: Plan for the future and assist in efficient running of the unit.
