Job summary

The Bamford Collection is seeking full-time Team Members to join the Restaurant team at its Team Member Cafe. If you are fun, enthusiastic, and charismatic, you will thrive in a fast-paced, feel-good environment and be an ambassador for the Daylesford brand.

Provide a warm welcome and deliver friendly, knowledgeable service at all times. Ideal candidates have café/restaurant experience and a warm, welcoming personality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
• Confident handling payments and operating tills
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• High standards of personal presentation and hygiene
• Knowledge or interest in organic, sustainable, or farm-to-table food
• Food hygiene certificate (Level 2 or equivalent)
• Experience assisting with stock control or inventory management

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring presentation and quality standards are met.
• Process customer orders and handle payments accurately using tills and card machines.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the restaurant.
• Restock food, beverages, and retail items as required throughout service.
• Assist with inventory checks and report low stock levels to management.
• Follow food safety, allergen, and health & safety guidelines at all times.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
• Support opening and closing procedures as directed by the restaurant management team.
• Support Café Pot wash Team to maintain an efficient and clean back of house area.
