Job summary

The Yard is an award-winning charity delivering adventure play services for children with disabilities and additional support needs in Dundee. We are seeking a Family Worker to provide information, emotional and practical support to families, empowering them to understand and access services.

You will work with families and carers, uphold safeguarding practices, and help create an inclusive community where families feel valued. This role offers a supportive environment with real impact.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children and young people with a range of disabilities and additional support needs.
• Excellent relationship building skills.
• Knowledge of children's rights, trauma informed and inclusive practices.
• An understanding of child and adult protection practices.
• Excellent organisational skills and administrative abilities.
