Job summary

Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking Family Support Practitioners for our Family Hub services located across Nottinghamshire (Bassetlaw). You will deliver 1-1 support and parenting programmes, work with health, education and social care partners, and empower families to thrive in their homes and communities.

The role supports families from pregnancy to age 19, with flexible working across hubs and community venues. Disclosure checks apply; disability confident leader status noted.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject.
  • 5 GCSEs at A*-C (including English) or equivalent.
  • 3+ years experience with children & families.
  • Experience working with families of school age children & teenagers preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for meeting the wholistic needs of families.

What we're looking for:

  • To hold 5 GCSEs at level A*-C (including English) or equivalent.
  • 3+ years experience with children & families
  • We are particularly looking for applicants with experience of working with families of school age children & teenagers
  • Strong interpersonal skills & a passion for meeting the wholistic needs of families

Flexible working across family hubs, family homes & community venues. Occasional evenings/weekends.
