Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join a busy Family team in Norwich. You will manage your own caseload across divorce, financial remedy and private children matters, delivering practical legal advice with strong client care.

The role offers hybrid working, progression opportunities and a supportive, growing department. You will handle matters from instruction to conclusion, representing clients in negotiations and court proceedings where required,

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in Family Law
• Experience managing a family law caseload independently
• Strong knowledge of family law legislation and procedure
• Experience across divorce, financial matters and/or private children work
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Well organised with the ability to manage multiple matters effectively
• Strong advocacy, negotiation and drafting skills

Responsibilities

• Manage your own family law caseload from instruction through to conclusion
• Represent clients in negotiations, hearings and court proceedings where required
• Liaise with clients, barristers, Cafcass and other professionals
• Provide clear, practical legal advice to clients
• Maintain high standards of client care and regulatory compliance
• Support the continued growth of the department through excellent service

My client is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join their busy Family team in Norwich, Norfolk. This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern and growing law firm, managing a varied family law caseload while benefiting from flexible hybrid working and genuine career progression.

You will be responsible for managing your own family law caseload, including:

• Divorce and separation matters
• Financial remedy proceedings
• Private children matters
• Cohabitation and relationship breakdown
• Child arrangements and residence disputes
• Domestic abuse and protective injunctions
• Providing clear, practical legal advice to clients
• Managing matters from initial instruction through to conclusion
• Representing clients in negotiations, hearings and court proceedings where required
• Liaising with clients, barristers, Cafcass, experts and other professionals
• Maintaining high standards of client care and regulatory compliance
• Supporting the continued growth of the department through excellent client service

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in Family Law
• Previous experience managing a family law caseload independently
• Strong knowledge of family law legislation and procedure
• Experience across divorce, financial matters and/or private children workExcellent client care and communication skills
• Well organised with the ability to manage multiple matters effectively
• Strong advocacy, negotiation and drafting skills
• Proactive and commercially minded approach
• Experience using case management systems would be advantageous
