You will handle divorce, financial remedy, private children matters, and related tasks, providing practical legal advice while maintaining regulatory compliance and high client care standards. This position offers strong potential for growth within the department.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in Family Law.
• Experience managing a family law caseload independently.
• Strong knowledge of family law legislation and procedure.
• Experience across divorce, financial matters and/or private children work.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Well organised with the ability to manage multiple matters effectively.
• Strong advocacy, negotiation and drafting skills.
• Proactive and commercially minded approach.
• Experience using case management systems would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own family law caseload, including divorce and financial remedy matters, private children work, and related cases.
• Represent clients in negotiations, hearings and court proceedings where required.
• Provide clear, practical legal advice to clients.
• Liaise with clients, barristers, Cafcass, experts and other professionals.
• Maintain high standards of client care and regulatory compliance.
• Support the continued growth of the department through excellent client service.
• Manage matters from initial instruction through to conclusion.

• Divorce and separation matters
• Financial remedy proceedings
• Private children matters
• Cohabitation and relationship breakdown
• Child arrangements and residence disputes
• Domestic abuse and protective injunctions
• Providing clear, practical legal advice to clients
• Managing matters from initial instruction through to conclusion
• Representing clients in negotiations, hearings and court proceedings where required
• Liaising with clients, barristers, Cafcass, experts and other professionals
• Maintaining high standards of client care and regulatory compliance
• Supporting the continued growth of the department through excellent client service

Requirements
