Are you a Family Solicitor with 5 – 10 years PQE seeking a new permanent opportunity? Would you like to work within a reputable law firm with the option of hybrid working? Are Leeds, Huddersfield, or Barnsley convenient locations for you? If so, this could be the perfect role!

Working within the family team at Leeds, Huddersfield, or Barnsley, your responsibilities as a Family Solicitor include:

1. Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including the Solicitors Act, Solicitors’ Accounts Rules, and Trustee Accounts Rules.
2. Managing a diverse caseload involving divorce, private children matters, non-molestation orders, and financial relief.
3. Handling cases independently, including picking up cases at various stages.
4. Representing clients at court hearings, including directions, first appointments, and financial dispute resolutions.
5. Taking instructions, drafting legal documents, and working collaboratively within the team.
6. Preparing Legal Aid applications and liaising with relevant authorities.
7. Meeting personal targets related to fee income and chargeable hours, while exploring new business opportunities.
8. Contributing to the marketing of the firm’s services as needed.

Applicants should have 5 – 10 years PQE and experience in Family Law.
