Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited in Chichester is seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join the Family Safeguarding Service on a 5-month contract. You will undertake assessments, safeguarding interventions and child protection work to improve outcomes for children and families.

You will manage caseloads and work with multi-agency partners to ensure statutory timescales are met. A minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience and Social Work England registration are required.

Qualifications

• Strong assessment and risk analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience working in a Local Authority Children’s Social Care setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of children, young people and families requiring statutory intervention.
• Undertake child and family assessments in line with legislation and local procedures.
• Carry out court reports and pre-proceedings where required.
• Collaborate with multi-agency partners to ensure safe outcomes for children.
