Exciting Opportunity: Recovery Coordinator

Are you experienced, skilled, and passionate about making a meaningful difference? We are recruiting for a Family Safeguarding Recovery Coordinator to join our Peterborough service to engage and assess our service users, ensuring they receive timely, personalised interventions that cater to their unique needs.

Location: Peterborough

Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week

Salary Range: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 dependent on experience (based on full-time hours, pro-rata for part-time)

Contract Type: Fixed term until 31st March 2026

About the role

• Deliver outreach services to families, promoting access for service users and concerned others
• Promote carer, service user, and community involvement
• Provide advocacy for access to partnership services
• Support social (re)integration with service users, enabling meaningful and purposeful lives, promoting recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination
• Adhere to CGL policies and processes, especially regarding lone working and health and safety with complex service users
• Undertake focused work with families of interest
• Provide rapid and flexible interventions to meet service users' needs

About you

• Strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience in a similar field
• Experience delivering community-based outreach services in a substance misuse setting
• Experience with safeguarding and working in the substance misuse field
• Knowledge of issues facing families where substance misuse is present
• Good knowledge of local community support practices
