Forward Trust invites applications for a Family and Relationships Practitioner in the East Riding of Yorkshire. You will deliver specialist interventions to help clients build healthier relationships and support families affected by addiction and other challenges.

The role involves working with individuals in prison and the local community, delivering one-to-one and group sessions, and collaborating with partners to provide coordinated support tailored to each person’s needs.

Formación

• Empathetic and non-judgemental approach to supporting individuals and families.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
• Understanding the role of healthy relationships in recovery and wellbeing.
• Flexible, proactive approach to tailoring interventions to individual needs.
• Experience or interest in one-to-one support, group sessions, or structured programmes.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver specialist one-to-one and group interventions to promote healthier relationships.
• Support clients to recognise unhealthy patterns and understand impact on addiction, offending and mental health.
• Provide direct support to family members to improve their own health and wellbeing.
• Work with children and young people where appropriate to promote family recovery.
