Job summary

The Bridges in Hull is a residential substance misuse treatment centre supporting adults 18+ who are committed to abstinence from drugs and alcohol. We are seeking a Recovery Practitioner (35 hours per week) to join our Treatment Team and deliver high-quality, person-centred care within a structured therapeutic environment.

You will manage caseloads, run group programmes and 1:1 interventions, provide psychosocial support, and help with reintegration planning while maintaining accurate records

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering structured recovery support.
  • Ability to manage a caseload with risk assessments.
  • Deliver group programmes and 1:1 interventions.
  • Maintain high-quality case records and data.

The Bridges

Salary Details: £26,187

The Bridges is a residential substance misuse treatment centre in Hull supporting adults (18+) who are committed to abstinence from drugs and alcohol. Our 3–6 month structured programme is rooted in 12-Step principles and evidence-based approaches, helping residents build the skills and resilience for lasting recovery.

We’re looking for a passionate Recovery Practitioner (35 hours per week) to join our Treatment Team and play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of our Treatment Team, you will:

  • Manage a caseload, including risk assessments and tailored recovery plans
  • Deliver structured group programmes and 1:1 interventions
  • Provide a range of psychosocial interventions to meet individual needs
  • Support reintegration planning for life beyond residential treatment
  • Carry out admissions in line with agreed protocols
