Job summary

Sellick Partnership is recruiting a Family Partner in Liverpool to lead a specialist Family team. The role involves advising high-net-worth individuals and families while growing the practice and developing junior talent.

You will manage a sophisticated portfolio, build client/referrer relationships, and help drive business development for the Liverpool office.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Family Partner to join a highly regarded and specialist Family team in Liverpool.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Family lawyer to take a leading role within a high-quality team, advising high-net-worth individuals and families while helping to grow the practice and develop junior talent.

The Opportunity

You'll manage a sophisticated portfolio of work while building strong relationships with clients and professional referrers.

Your workload is likely to include:

• Divorce and separation


• High-value and complex financial settlements


• Children matters, including relocation cases


• Cohabitation disputes


• Agricultural and family-related matters


• Managing your own portfolio of high-value clients


• Supervising, mentoring and developing junior lawyers


• Building and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships


• Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the Manchester office

About You

• Extensive experience in Family Law


• Strong track record advising high-net-worth clients


• Technically confident across complex financial and children matters


• Experience supervising and mentoring junior lawyers


• Commercially minded with a strong business development focus


• Confident building long-term client and professional relationships


• Excellent communication skills, empathy and sound judgement


• Already operating at Partner level, or a Legal Director/Senior Associate ready for the next step
