Job summary

Doubletrees School is seeking a dedicated Family Liaison Worker to support pupils, families and staff across our school. You will be at the heart of our pastoral provision, building strong relationships between home and school and ensuring families feel informed and empowered to access help.

The role involves working with pupils facing barriers to learning, coordinating with teachers and external agencies, leading family engagement initiatives, arranging meetings, referrals and support plans,

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with pupils, families and external professionals.
• Support family engagement, attendance and pupil wellbeing.
• Coordinate and lead meetings with families and partner agencies.
• Complete referrals and act as Lead Professional where appropriate.
• Organise and deliver support sessions for pupils and parents.
• Maintain accurate records and monitor the impact of interventions.
• Support admissions, transitions and pastoral projects across the school.
• Work collaboratively to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
