Job summary

Doubletrees School is seeking a dedicated Family Liaison Worker to support pupils, families and staff, strengthening home-school relationships and ensuring families feel informed and empowered to access help.

You will lead family engagement initiatives, coordinate with teachers and external agencies, promote positive attendance, and monitor interventions to support pupils with SEND.

This role requires strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with pupils, families and external professionals.
• Support family engagement, attendance and pupil wellbeing.
• Coordinate and lead meetings with families and partner agencies.
• Complete referrals and act as Lead Professional where appropriate.
• Organise and deliver support sessions for pupils and parents.
• Maintain accurate records and monitor the impact of interventions.
• Support admissions, transitions and pastoral projects across the school.
