Job description: We’re currently recruiting for a Family Lawyer to join an excellent firm for an initial period of 3 months, with the likelihood of further extension.

This positions is on a fully remote basis, and the firm are willing to consider both full or part-time applicants – minimum 4 days per week.

The successful candidate will be:

• Managing a complex caseload, dealing with anything from fixed-fee divorces to financial disputes
• Providing legal advice to clients over the phone, via written communication channels, and face to face meetings
• Taking ownership of a mixed caseload of family matters, undertaking active negotiation and mediation to get the best results for your clients
• Advising the team on complex legal queries, acting as the subject matter specialist in family law

Required skills

• Qualified as a solicitor / CILEX qualified, with significant post-qualification experience
• A proven background in family law, with excellent legal technical knowledge
• Solid knowledge of divorce, separation, financial settlements, cohabitation and children law

Day rate: Dependent on prior experience (inside IR35)
