We are looking for consultant lawyers to join the Law By Sophie team.

Law By Sophie has just celebrated its 1 st Birthday and is now looking to grow and spread our belief that the legal system and law firms in their nature are archaic, and that we are here to change that.

You will find our founder, Sophie Murgatroyd often in client meetings in wellies and jodhpurs or a tracksuit. We don’t believe in silly suits and corporate white noise. Let’s sit down, have a coffee and talk about how we can help you.

Our founder, Sophie Murgatroyd spent many years as a consultant solicitor before launching her own firm. Being a consultant lawyer is truly life changing. Work less but earn more with total flexibility of when and where you work. No boardrooms, no billing expectations, no suits, no office hours, just you doing what you do best.

We are looking for consultants in the following areas of law:

·Dispute Resolution

·Property Disputes

·Wills and Trusts

Our consultancy positions work on a revenue share basis where you will maintain up to 70% of revenue generated with no cap on earning potential.

• Flexible working hours, as little or as much as you would like.
• Work remotely from anywhere in the world.
• Fully optimised CMS and electronic systems.
• Access to business development and the Law By Sophie network.
• Company events

Expectations of a consultant:

• Ability to manage their own caseload
• Ability to generate their own work through networking/marketing
• 5 years + PQE
• Researching and interpreting complex areas of law
• Keeping up to date with developments in the law
• Building strong relationships with a firm’s client base
