Job summary

Family Action is seeking a dedicated Family Hub Coordinator for Stroud & the Cotswolds. You will manage administrative processes, signpost families, support group delivery, and maintain accurate records while fostering a welcoming, safe environment for children and families.

Two positions are available with flexible working options; one based in Cirencester and another in Stonehouse. The role offers permanent contract terms and progression opportunities within a community-focused charity.

Qualifications

  • Experience in an administrative or coordination role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

The Family Hub Coordinator plays a key role in the day-to-day operation of the Children and Family Hub, ensuring the effective coordination of administrative processes, activities, and family support services. The post holder will act as a first point of contact for families, provide information and signposting, support the delivery of groups and programmes, and maintain accurate records and data systems. Working closely with colleagues and partner agencies, the Family Hub Coordinator will contribute to creating a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment that supports positive outcomes for children, young people, and families. We are looking for a motivated and compassionate individual who is passionate about supporting children and families within the community. You will be approachable, organised, and able to build positive relationships with a wide range of people. The ideal candidate will be confident in handling administrative responsibilities while also being comfortable taking an active role in delivering activities and engaging directly with families. You will thrive in a busy environment, demonstrate strong teamwork skills, and show initiative in supporting the smooth running of the hub. A flexible, can-do attitude and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children and families are essential for this role. Main Responsibilities: The Family Hub Coordinator plays a key role in the day-to-day operation of the Children and Family Hub, ensuring the effective coordination of administrative processes, activities, and family support services. The post holder will act as a first point of contact for families, provide information and signposting, support the delivery of groups and programmes, and maintain accurate records and data systems.
