Caritas Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Social Worker for Herefordshire’s Family Help Team in the South Locality. This role is based in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, with a permanent contract and a competitive package including a market supplement and relocation support.

The Social Worker will manage complex caseloads, lead interventions, conduct safeguarding work and participate in meetings with partner agencies to improve outcomes for children and families.

Formación

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, DipSW, CQSW or equivalent).
• Current Social Work England registration.
• Experience working with children and families within a statutory setting.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and legislation.
• Excellent assessment, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to high-quality, child-centred practice.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a complex caseload of children and families.
• Act as the Family Help Lead Practitioner, coordinating plans and interventions.
• Undertake assessments, risk analysis and safeguarding work.
• Chair and contribute to Child in Need, Core Group and Strategy Meetings.
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies to deliver positive outcomes.
• Build restorative relationships to support families in making sustainable change.
• Complete high-quality recordings, assessments and reports, including court-related work.
