Job summary

Caritas Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Assistant Team Manager to join Hampshire Children's Services Family Help Hubs, covering Fareham & Gosport and East Hants. The role supports frontline delivery and practice improvement, reporting to the Team Manager and contributing to safeguarding and quality assurance.

This 3-month contract offers £42 per hour, flexible working arrangements where service needs allow, and strong management support within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Must be SWE Registered Social Worker with Right to Work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Support the Team Manager with day-to-day operational leadership.
• Provide case oversight and quality assurance.
• Support supervision, mentoring and development of Social Workers.
• Assist with service performance and practice standards.
• Support allocation and management of complex safeguarding cases.
• Promote excellent outcomes for children and families.
