Job summary

Caritas Recruitment is seeking a Senior Social Worker to join Hampshire's Family Help Hub teams across Fareham & Gosport, East Hants (Alton), Basingstoke, Eastleigh & Winchester, New Forest, Hart & Rushmoor and Havant. The role focuses on complex Child in Need and safeguarding work with multi-agency collaboration.

Initial 3-month contracts, flexible and hybrid working arrangements, and strong management oversight are offered to support high-quality family services.

Qualifications

• SWE registered social worker with UK Right to Work.
• Experience with Child in Need and safeguarding would be advantageous.
• Ability to mentor and support less experienced practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Hold and manage complex Child in Need and safeguarding cases.
• Support and mentor less experienced practitioners.
• Undertake assessments and formulate intervention plans.
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners.
