Job summary

Babyzone Preston is seeking a Family Engagement Lead to welcome families and run the weekly Babyzone sessions on Wednesdays. You will help set up the space, support activity areas, and ensure safety and flow throughout the day.

The role involves engaging with families and children, signposting services, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Based at Inspire Vault Youth Zone in Preston, the role is part-time, with a Wednesday schedule from 8:30am to 3:00pm during term time.

Qualifications

• You must love engaging with all families and young children.
• Excellent verbal communication skills are required.
• Demonstrated safeguarding awareness and practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up and pack away Babyzone each Wednesday and organise space layout.
• Support class leads with equipment and setup of soft play areas.
• Welcome families, engage with children, build community and signpost local services.
• Capture family numbers via a digital form on arrival.
• Act as on-day point of contact and resolve issues to ensure smooth operation.
• Welcome external stakeholders and uphold Babyzone ethos and mission.
