Job summary

Brook Street is recruiting a Family Assessment Worker for Coventry (CV3). The role is nights, with 20 or 30 hours per week plus overtime, and is temporary with a view to permanent. You will observe parenting capacity, monitor family interactions, and contribute to safeguarding and child protection assessments.

You will document observations in detailed reports, work within a multidisciplinary team, and support families to develop positive parenting skills in a residential assessment setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in family support, safeguarding or child protection.
• Proven observation and report-writing abilities.
• Ability to produce factual, professional records.
• Flexibility to work night shifts and lone working.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding practices.
